The BMW M6 (E24) has a special place in BMW's performance history. The M6 was produced for the North American market from 1987 to 1989 with a total of only 1,632 built for U.S. market. This is one of the best examples of the low production 1988 M6. This M6 has received great care from it's owners to preserve and enjoy the vehicle. Truly an outstanding and desirable, as well as collectible early BMW M car. MECHANICALS: The factory M power 3.5L (S38) 256 hp (SAE) engine is an evolutions of the 24-valve inline-six developed for BMW's mid-engine M1 supercar. The transmission is a smooth shifting manual 5-speed. Mechanically in excellent condition, with a well documented service history. The suspension has recently been updated and upgraded. A few years ago exhaust system was also upgraded. EXTERIOR: The original beautiful black paint and body are in excellent condition. A deep and lustrous paint finish that is ready for show. Very few and very minor chips or scuff marks on the front spoiler of the car. 9 out of 10. The glass is in great condition. Alpina 17 inch wheels with Bridgestone tires.
