1986 Porsche 911 Carrera

This 1986 Porsche 911 3.2 Carrera is finished in Guards Red over Black interior. Equipped with partial power driver’s seat, partial leather seats, power windows, heated and electrically controlled outside mirrors, factory shortened shift travel, cruise control (not working), a/c, fog lights, aftermarket stereo, sport shocks, and standard 6 & 7 x 16? Fuchs wheels. This car has been owned by the same owner for the past 21 years. Recently car received some extra love and attention. We did a major service including complete brake system restored (new calipers, brake hoses, pads, rotors, and master cylinder), engine service distributor cap, ignition rotor, ignition wires, spark plugs, filters, fluids, and more. New Michelin tires, new canvas top, and full detailing. The car is ready to be driven and enjoyed. EXTERIOR The Guards Red paint is in very good condition. There are some minor paint chips blemishes. The car received a full exterior repaint many years ago. A new canvas top was installed. The top is a standard manual operation. The factory glass is still in the car and is free of cranks, yet with some pitting. The standard 6 & 7 x 17 FUCHS are in good clean condition. New Michelin Pilot Sport tires. INTERIOR The black interior on this car is very clean. The factory leather is in good condition with only minor or natural age and wear. This car was optioned with partial power adjust for the driver’s seat. The passenger seat is not power. Windows are power and working. All gauges are good and working. The dash is good. A crank on the driver’s upper trim panel at door lock indicator peg. The carpet is good with some light wear on the driver's side. A/C blows cool. The heater works well. Radio is an aftermarket unit with a detachable faceplate. MECHANICALS The 3.2L engine is well known as a strong and reliable engine. The mechanicals with this is very good. Recent major service, with new ignition cap, rotor, wires, and spark plugs. All filters and fluids have been changed. Replace speed and crank sensor. Valve adjustment and overall check over and adjustment to hand brake, clutch release, and new belts. No oil leaks. Due to age and the importance of brakes, we replaced the master cylinder, all 4 calipers, all rubber lines, front and rear brake pads, rear rotors, and machine-turned the front rotors.
